If we need to move quickly, our digital skill set includes web work, eblasts, sales literature, simple videos, animation, presentations, the development and use of databases, and advanced sales/marketing modeling. Additional resources developed over 25 years can help at any level from designing and building a booth for trade shows, to detailed product animation videos.
Strategic and Market Planning is a a component of our work. We use "systems mapping" as a key element in this process. We can help analyze a market, determine a competitive path (if one is available) then work on messaging and move into the downstream elements if desired.
BELOW ARE SOME PROJECTS WE HAVE WORKED ON DURING OUR FIRST YEAR
US MANUFACTURER - DISTRIBUTION
We worked with this manufacturer to move from an independent representative structure calling on physicians directly; to independents through distribution channels. They had been trying for an extended time to motivate many, many direct independents calling on the physicians office. We developed a web based training program to bring the new representatives on board without travel expenses, new sales aids and electronic promotional pieces to help the process. We brought on 10 independent agents with established contacts.
INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURER - DISTRIBUTION
This is an international manufacturer that was not getting enough attention from their master distributor. They had two major goals, to understand the US market better, do a market review, meet key KOL's, understand reimbursement and where their product might fit in the US system. They also wanted to establish their own independent sales group, one that could work through distribution.
US DISTRIBUTOR - DISTRIBUTION
We work with a European manufacturer that has a full-time US operation. We work with them on all sales and marketing related tasks. Message/Positioning, print, electronic lead generation. On the sales side we work with the sales managers on all sales related activities, including some direct contact with US distribution channels.
US DISTRIBUTOR - DIRECT
We work with a US master specialty distributor with direct to physician sales people. Their partners are predominantly European. We work with them on market message and positioning, all marketing and sales related support activities. Of special focus is a New Product launch; this involves physician and consumer elements.
INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURER - MARKET ASSESSMENT
This European customer asked us to work in conjunction with a member of their team to provide a market assessment for a product that they currently sell overseas. We did a traditional market assessment, arranged 6 physician interviews added our knowledge of the different sales channels and provided strategic options and possible outcomes.
US MANUFACTURER - NEW PRODUCT
Together with another consulting group we were asked by a large US manufacturer to help them understand the hospital market place, they were currently in the consumer space. They wanted to understand the competitive landscape the influence of "groups", sales and distribution channels and to suggest an entrance strategy.
PERI-OPERATIVE WORK FLOW - IT
We are working with an IT company that dramatically grows Peri-operative revenue with no additional people or capital expense. Through work flow redesign and the addition of soft technology interventions along with the subscription software product it is not unusual for even a modestly size unit to see additional revenues in the million dollar range annually.
